Empregando modelo de interação na representação de padrões de usabilidade

Macilon Araújo Costa NetoJair Cavalcanti Leite

Design patterns are widely used in software development since theoriginal proposal of a catalog of reusable object-oriented solutions - the GoFpatterns. They have been applied successfully also in software process and userinterface and interaction design. One of the main reasons of its popularity isbecause it is possible to represent the tacit design knowledge that has been revealedin design practice. However, differently as in GoF patterns, GUI andWUI patterns are not represented using visual diagrams, which has been thelingua franca for most software development stakeholder. Beyond that, visuallanguages allow usability and architectural impact analysis at design time. Inthis paper, we show how design patterns can be represented in ALaDIM, aninteraction design language. We also argue that the integration of interactionpatterns and visual languages enhances the collaboration among HCI and softwareengineering professionals.
