This article describes a computer-based prototype system as a tool to support the teaching Physics of the Medium Teaching, through Virtual Reality techniques. Using psico-pedagogic strategies, based upon the Conceptual Maps paradigm, the system simulates a virtual laboratory that allows the student to construct his own knowledge, through the creation and analysis of physical experiments.
