Virtual Environments (VEs) have been efficient on presenting interactive 3D graphical information. However, there is a rising demand for VEs capable of satisfactorily incorporating complete phrases (texts), in particular for systems of educational purposes. In order to support these projects this paper will identify specific VE design features to facilitate the insertion of complete texts in VEs. Existing systems will be analyzed from the perspective of these design features. The paper will illustrates that careful selection of design features facilitates that a great deal of textual information be presented in VEs without affecting the users sense of immersion nor their overall satisfaction.
