The author’s manuscript identification based on handwriting patterns has been used in forensic science to assist a criminal solution and the suspect identification. The manuscript pattern database and an efficient search process can help to identify an unknown author. This paper shows a global approach to identify the manuscript’s author based on graphometric features and a (SVM) Support Vector Machines classifier.
