One of the most important resources in wireless sensor networks is energy, since, in general, batteries cannot be recharged. The information about the amount of energy available at each part of the network is called energy map. In this work, we propose and evaluate an energy map construction approach based in neural network prediction techniques. Simulation results reveled that our model spends less energy in the map construction process than the other techniques proposed on the literature.
