This paper proposes an approach of technological forecast and experts' identification from publications, thesis and patents. A software named KAIROS was developed to data mine and to infer knowledge areas from scientific production found in the web. As a result, we can analyse the evolution of scientific areas, the way as they are interconnected and possible promising areas. Expert or visionary researchers or institutions are identified on a domain by some proposed heuristics. In order to validate the proposed approach, case studies were conducted on computing domain and their results were satisfactory.
