The development of an Information System using the Object Oriented paradigm involves specification and modeling of data, functions and business rules over application domain entities. OCL (Object Constraint Language) is a modeling tool which allows expressing, in a high level of abstraction, constraints over application data in a precise and objective way. This project aims to investigate the use of OCL for modeling business rules and their translation to integrity constraints in SQL database schemata through an automatic transformation tool, according to the MDA (Model Driven Architecture) approach.
