The daily interaction between people in games called Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs), which are increasingly popular worldwide, contribute to the virtual communities formation. These culturally diverse communities are shaped by the different types of social ties between actors inside the game's virtual world. The present work shows a social network analysis of the community of the game World of Warcraft (WoW). To accomplish that a system was developed to gather data from the network, and also tools took into consideration elements from software engineering,algebra, graph theory and social networks analisys.
