In spite of challenges and complexities involved with the organization and management of distributed software development, it becomes imperative to develop models and tools to manage software process within this context. The objective of this paper is to contribute with Software Engineering area, by presenting solutions aiming at to minimize problems related to communication, coordination and control, which result from existing temporal, geographic and sociocultural differences in distributed software development.
