Security is an essential requirement in most of today's information systems. However, the occurrence of security flaws in such systems is not uncommon. In this article, we present ArchiMDAs, a security framework based on Model Driven Architecture (MDA) that simplifies and flexibly the modeling of security requirements, which are then implicitly applied to the whole system through model transformations and automatic code generation. The use of ArchiMDAs provides a high assurance that security related code is not susceptible to coding error.
