This paper proposes an approach for service differentiation in web servers that preserves the end-to-end mapping in conformance with PHB AF group. This novel approach uses dynamic scheduling techniques and selective discard of requests to achieve a proportional service differentiation. A prototype was built on Apache web server and experiments were carried out aiming to evaluate the approach in front of other traditional techniques of services differentiation.
