The construction of correct and reliable concurrent and distributed programs holds one of the most important collaborative editor called CoEdit (which was originally developed with Java). CoEdit specification in N�utilus is more clear because of the facilities available in this language to express concurrent process synchronization.Also, an important extension to the original CoEdit program was implemented by the use of N�utilus' abstraction mechanisms in order to reuse previously specified components.
