More and more, ontologies have been applied in contexts related to domain semantic information processing. In general, applications have used traditional (crisp) ontologies, which only represent exact or complete information. However, there are domains for which the definition of concepts and relationships is vague or imprecise, hence they cannot be suitably represented by traditional ontologies. In this sense, this paper presents a meta-ontology that models fuzzy classes and relationships in order to be inherited and/or instanced by domain ontologies, making possible to represent and make inferences from imprecise information.
