New mobile computing technologies and the increasing use of portable devices place computers even more present on human life activities, favoring the rising of a new computing paradigm: the Ubiquitous Computing. In this scenario, context-aware mobile applications outstand among the other ones improving users' interactions by taking benefits from using contextual information. This paper presents the design of a middleware to support the development and execution of context-aware applications.
