The current DRM (Digital Rights Management) architectures do not completely satisfy the cost requirements and business models proposed in the Digital TV Brazilian System (SBTVD) project. Therefore, this paper proposes a DRM architecture which is able to capture the minimum requirements demanded by the SBTVD and satisfy the needs of TV broadcasters in terms of functionalities and contents management.
