This article proposes to automate an ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) process of software metrics, based on a metrics program and corresponding analytical model, and on the defined management processes, by a CMM/CMMI certified software development organization. The proposed solution intends to ally the functionalities offered by WS (Web Services) standards with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), to support the environment of software development management.
