This paper describes the development of a low-cost OLAP-web tool, which was designed to manipulate environmental information about the hydrographic basin of the Sinos River in the south of Brazil. Traditionally, such tools are proprietary and very expensive, or, in the case of open-source, their webs interfaces are not of easy use and don't have much functionality. To tool presented here has a powerful intuitive interface and offers important information to the decision making process of the region and general public.
