This paper introduces an analytical data model for storing business process models and corresponding execution logs. Such business processes may be implemented by the use of Workflow-based software tools. To properly define this type of models, it is presented the main Workflow characteristics of Workflow applications, according to WfMC. These characteristics are used in a comparative study among models described in the literature and the proposed model, to emphasize our main contributions.
