Gerência Adaptativa e Programável de Qualidade de Serviço em Redes IP

Miguel F. de CastroDominique GaïtiAbdallah M’hamedRossana M. C. Andrade

New generation Internet is coming with several new constraints imposed by service convergence and Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities. This article proposes an adaptive IP QoS management based on Active and Programmable Networks in which customized meta-behaviors can be configured on network elements. These meta-behaviors are expressed in a new language called CLAM (Compact Language for Adaptive Management). A support architecture enhanced with these active and programmable capabilities is presented and used in a case study on adaptive queue management in routers.
