This paper describes an architecture able to support automatic policy replacement when defined network events occur. Thus, an automated system capable to react to network behavior changes is achieved, deploying a new policy better suited to this new network behavior. The architecture main objective is to help network managers with network operations maintenance task when the occurrence of special events leads to network malfunction. A formal architecture able to provide this functionality and new related concepts are presented, as well as a functional prototype of this architecture.
