This paper presents TeamWorks, a system for management and retrieval of knowledge produced by work teams. TeamWorks employs a recommender system to retrieve information from large knowledge bases, and provides a work team with tools for communicating and sharing documents and their history. TeamWorks helps a team preserve the tacit knowledge that is generated during the creation of the documents, thus encouraging reuse of knowledge, and avoiding repetition of errors. To show how the environment supports a team, we present an example where the system was used by a group of student.
