The new mobile computing technologies and the increasing use of portable devices place computers even more present on human life activities. This particular scenario favored rising a new computing paradigm: the Ubiquitous Computing. Among the existing sorts of applications, contextaware mobile applications take benefits from using contextual information to improve users’ interactions. This paper presents the design of a new Context Interpreter. The proposed interpreter is based on directed acyclic graphs to handle, reasoning and interpret context information – core activities on ubiquitous, context-aware services platforms.
