A modular object-oriented environment, called Expert-Coop++, designed to help the implementation of open cognitive Multi-Agent Systems, under best effort soft real time requirements, is presented in this paper. The environment consists of a library of C++ classes that supports the creation of agents according to a predefined agent architecture. The environment also offer three different cooperation strategies: Dynamic Social Knowledge, Contract Net Protocol and a sligth variation of Coalision Based On Dependence.
