Computer graphics techniques are being heavily used in the design of the user interface, both for presenting the results after the simulation or during experiments and to build models through graphic editors. New concepts like Visual Interactive Simulation (VIS) and Visual Interactive Modeling (VIM) and their relationship to areas like scientific data visualization, CAD and visual programming languages have motivated this work, which goal is to present a new paradigm for simulation environments that integrate properties and resources found in VIS and VIM environments.
