This paper presents a graphic editor for the definition of multimedia documents' structure and synchronization. The tool offers three different views for the documents. The first view manipulates their structure, the second one treats their temporal relationships and the third one specifies their spacial characteristics. We discuss the need for those views, relating them to a conceptual model and to an open architecture for document handling. Finally, we present an implementation of this tool in an editor built over the HyperProp multimedia/hypermedia system.
