Most of the work done on schema integration and data integration is based on equivalence assertions established by the user or the designer and used within merge/match algorithms. These assertions mainly concern equivalent of terms in schema integration and closeness of values in data integration. This presentation shows how both integrations have evolved from a syntactic approach to a more semantic approach, using particularly linguistic knowledge and ontologies. We show how in both cases integration assertions can be automatically discovered using this knowledge. Clique no link abaixo para buscar o texto completo deste trabalho na Web: Buscar na Web
