Verifying the Construction of a Software Model from a Requirements Model

Nelly Condori-FernándezOscar Pastor

A software model is the outcome of abstracting a set of relevant elements that contribute to the functional size according to measurement model. The purpose of this paper is to verify the construction of the software model when applying the RmFFP measurement procedure with computer science students. The RmFFP procedure was designed according to the COSMIC-FFP standard method for estimating the functional size of object-oriented systems from requirements specifications obtained in the context of the OO-Method approach.
