Rodrigo RochaCatarina CostaRafael PrikladnickiRyan Ribeiro de AzevedoIvaldir H. F. JuniorSilvio Meira

With the rise of Distributed Software Development, software houses attempt to find out the best strategy to improve the development of products and services in a distribuited way, but without losing quality at a low cost. This work proposes to identify what models of collaboration are used by organizations to develop software within a distributed context, based on the traditional development life cycle, where the phases thereof are performed (onsite, distributed / offshore and multi- site). The research method used to investigate the forms of cooperation was a systematic literature review that have examined 841 papers published from 2000 to 2009.
