The Distributed Software Development inherited the problems existent on the traditional development and for many reasons, added other difficulties. This paper presents the challenges of each stage of the software development life cycle on companies. To identify the challenges of the development stages, a field research was performed on the domestic software market, through a questionnaire the companies have cited the problems they face. This way, it's possible to view some of the challenges the domestic industry faces on each development stage.
