Distributed software development (DSD) has made even more complex the problem of managing software projects. Additionally, in the literature, there is not a widely recognized knowledge body supportingdistributed projects management. This research aims to collect and organize, existing knowledge on the challenges and practices for distributed software development, through a systematic literature review.
