The selection process of human resources is complex and inherently subjective, requiring to measure and represent knowledge and experience of professionals. Such difficulty is even higher in a distributed setting. Furthermore, in the context of software projects, specific needs should betaken into account to make possible to identify and select the best skilled professionals to develop a project. Thereby, in order to abstract complexity and subjectivity, this paper presents a fuzzy logic based approach for selecting technically skilled teams to implement software modules of distributedsoftware product line projects.
