Image processing systems developed for applications related the health area hasbecome an important technology in medical diagnostic and treatment. This article describessome preliminaries studies in the development process of a tool which has capabilities todetect and analyze automatically the postural anomalies of a patient, through the use ofimage processing techniques applied on acquired images of the patient body.
