New methods are required, which are capable of fully automated adjustment andself-adaptation to fluctuating inputs and tasks. Neural Networks (NN), Fuzzy Logic andEvolutionary algorithms (EA), have been used for solving complex problems in real worldapplications. The evolutionary approach, NN and fuzzy systems provide a valuable alternative totraditional methods used in information fusion, due to its inherent parallel nature and its ability todeal with difficult problems. This paper attempts to give a brief description of a vision system thatuse image and sound fusion to perform analysis of insects' behavior and shows the first results ofvideo analysis for studies of the sense of smell of insects. This is a research area where integratedbiological studies, behavior and chemical for the employment of chemical uses in agro systems.
