To recognize and to authenticate individuals through characteristics biometrics comes turning usual in the day by day. The advantages of this authentication method on the traditional "tag/password" are countless. Besides, biometrics databases are growing more and more, influencing in the time of search of the information. This article presents a recognition system and indexation of fingerprints through function of metric distance.
