In this work is presented a standard process for requirements engineering for embedded software in the context of the automotive industry. This process was made from a software process architecture, which is based on the meta-model Software & Systems Process Engineering Meta-Model Specification (SPEM). This process was defined from the reusing of components of a preexisting process and based on features of process variability. The resulting process is in accordance with the MR-MPS and Automotive SPICE models.
