This paper reports the recent results achieved in aresearch and development for a virtual control desk,interfacing with a nuclear power plant's control system. Thisvirtual control desk was developed aiming to combine thedynamics simulation of a nuclear power plant operation, withhigh fidelity control desk's visual appearance. Thus, users canbe trained considering many normal or abnormal scenariosthrough the dynamics simulation. Different interfacingtechniques serve user interaction with this virtual control desk,as head tracking. For instance, this paper aims to compare twohead tracking interface to control a nuclear plant virtualcontrol desk. The comparisons of performance, requiredmemory and data stability are done and the advantages anddisadvantages of each method are explained.Buscar na Web
