Realidade Virtual Distribuída para Simulação Neural

This paper proposes a Virtual Reality Distributed environment to the visualization of realisticmorphologically neural network simulation, including the growth neural, that is, the simulation of thedevelopment and the death (apoptosis) of neural cells. The user will be able to interact with theenvironment by using virtual reality devices that allow its complete navigation in the environment,including the three-dimensional visualization of the scene using stereoscopic vision. It is also proposed an investigation about critical performance factors of a virtual environment where it is predominated the three-dimensional representation of ramified fractionary structures, not only neurons.
