This is an applied research of Virtual Reality on professional education, whose goal was to develop educational applications for use in the learning process on the SENAI courses, as well to gain knowledge in order to evaluate the educational potential of VIrutal Reality Technology. To do so, it was develped the educational application Hydraulic Component Maintenance. Its didactic conception was based on the creation of a virtual environment which allows the exploration, observation, handling and discovery over the maintenance process, which is essentially the educational process. Also is presented all research which led to this educational application
