Deformable bodies simulation is an inherentlyinterdisciplinary research field, involving NewtonianDynamics, Numeric Computation, Differential Geometry, among others. When brought to the field of Games or Virtualand Augmented Reality, for example, some complexmathematical concepts become too expensive in order tomaintain an acceptable interactivity level. Therefore, theseareas and its correlated ones need simpler techniques insuch a way the behavior of the objects in a scene becomesphysically and visually reasonable. This article deals with atechnique that intends to reach those objectives by directmanipulation of the positions of the objects' vertices, providing a better control and stability of the simulation. Theactual state of its implementation, using the graphics engineOGRE for rendering is described as well.
