Considering that the teaching and the learning ofairlines of electric power transmission constitute a greatchallenge for professionals, teachers and engineeringstudents, the present article has as proposal to demonstratethe viability of using virtual models in substitution to thetraditional methods in the teaching of this discipline. Thepresent article describes a system that is used of techniquesof virtual reality for the presentation of the main types ofstructures that composes the lines and their respectiveaccessories (insulators and clamps, among other).
