This work aims to compare, through performanceanalysis, an optimized implementation of Bresenhams linedrawing algorithm, in both software (Java) and hardware(VHDL) platforms. The performance analysis will makepossible to address the feasibility of creating a dedicatedcircuit responsible for processing the algorithm, and amodule that will be part of a completely embeddedaugmented reality system in the future.
