More intuitive modes and devices to interact in virtual reality environments have been subject of several researches. In this context, the inclusion of motion tracking to applications can improve user's experience. This paper presents the use of a magnetic tracker on education and integration of this device to a framework for developing educational and medical applications based on virtual reality. Some particularities about magnetic trackers and an application developed to verify integration possibilities will also be presented.
