This article presents a methodology for use ofWorkflow systems as technology of integration oflegacy systems. Using case study the universitypetitions student's process, and, XPDL (XML ProcessDefinition Language) as modeling language and thetool SHARK as Workflow Engine, tests wasimplemented and it had shown the effectiveness of thedeveloped prototype validating the methodologyproposal. However, this evaluation revealed a negativeaspect: visualization information. This was resolvedwith the use of Virtual Reality in this visualization.
