In this paper we propose the utilization of theX3D standard resources and flexibility to visuallyimprove the observation of electromagnetic fieldspropagation by providing the simulation resultsthrough an X3D animated scene. Althoughthe examples apply to the specific topic ofelectromagnetic waves, the concepts presented inthis work could be adapted or extended to otherscenarios and applications of simulation. The x3danimated scene presented in this paper allows theinterested parties to easily evaluate the simulationsnapshots and have access to important interactiontechniques like rotation, translation, zoom and timesetting, going back and forth over the simulationsteps.
