An experimental session for Primates using VR Desktop which imitates a procedure of matching objects to sample

Arine de Almeida LealManoel Ribeiro FilhoOlavo de Faria Galvão

This short paper describes an application of Virtual reality desktop, which evaluates the primates' behavior through interactions with the system. In such situations, the researcher is able to program experimental tests that roll automatically when the session is initiated. The sessions are stored in a database and, in the end of each execution; a report with the obtained results is generated. Rapidity, accuracy of collected data, safety, storage of all the necessary items and facility in locating them are some of the benefits already identified in the system.
