In this paper, it is presented a new algorithm for the enhancement of fingerprint images based inOrientation Field. This technique is used in the reconstruction of ridge of the Fingerprints that had been damaged in the process of acquisition of the image to recovery the redundant information that had been lost. The proposed algorithm is tested with FVC2000 fingerprint images database obtained of the Internet.
