This work describes the main research of a group from two Rio de Janeiro universities. The first research, a Virtual Environment for testing the acceptance of Virtual Reality equipment by schizophrenia patients, has stimulated a growing interest in this area. The second research, in progress, will develop a virtual environment to support learning abilities of ADHD children. Another work will reproduce some tunnels of Rio de Janeiro city to treatment of claustrophobia. The last work from this group, propose a virtual square for stimulating autistic patients.
