In this work, the validation of two software requirementsspecification techniques is analyzed. Through the execution of controlledexperiments, a comparative analysis was carried out between requirementsvalidation through text documents as well as prototypes. The validationtechnique used is performed through Checklists; users access the content ofeach specification guided through Checklists. Through such analysis, it ispossible to identify which technique allows a better validation of requirementsspecifications by users, considering the type of such specifications is different(textual and visual). It is our goal to identify the specification technique whichis more comfortable, better understood by users and that better describes theirneeds.
