The approach presented in this paper proposes the process of Requirements Engineering (RE) visualization as a business process, enabling the principles introduction of Business Process Management (BPM) In order to increase its performance. As the initial model (As Is), consider the RE process, according the SWEBOK. Then a desirable process (To Be) is modeled by principles introduction that provide increased effectiveness and quality. The increase in effectiveness is achieved by aligning requirements with organizational and business process goals, while quality improving, by the quantitative control through monitoring and measuring of performance indicators parameters.
