This paper presents five parameters used for analysis of emotional speech inBrazilian Portuguese. The spontaneous speech data were collected in digital files on Internet.Automatic processing was done with the application ExProsodia. The results of this analysis, tested by Tukey's multiple comparison and verified by multivariate analysis of cluster's test, showed identification of male and female anger, but not of gender. There were genderidentification in relation to the neutral and the sad, but it was not possible to identify theseemotional expressions alone.
